In 2012 we had a small kitchen and an adjoining under-used dining room. As we were thinking of replacing the kitchen units, we decided to remove the wall between the two rooms and create a dining-kitchen area. This would also give us more usable space and an opportunity to install a contemporary kitchen.

After researching kitchen companies in the Ely area, we came across newrooms Methwold. We wanted a company that we could trust and give us our vision for the new space and provide a high-quality product. After meeting Jamie in his impressive showroom at Methwold, we knew we had found the company which could give us a full design service and importantly the reassurance we needed.

The client wanted a very contemporary design for their modern property in Ely. They wanted the design to work not only as a kitchen but also as a living space for eating and relaxing.

The handleless gloss kitchen increases light and gives the whole area a light and airy feel. A peninsula separates the kitchen area and maximises the available space. An attractive display unit provides extra storage and helps create the feel of a living space and the stunning corian Lava Rock worktop is carried through to the display unit.
